How to revise effectively?
Revision works best when it is ACTIVE. This means your brain should be working hard to RETRIEVE the information.
There are lots of ways to do this well: Practice tests, Summary notes, Mindmaps, Flashcards
Whatever you do, make sure you do it from MEMORY.
Revision is also more effective when it is SPECIFIC. This means you know what you are revising and have given yourself a target to aim for.
Focus on making your learning LIKE A SPORT. e.g. practice 20 flashcards in one go, then try to improve your score later the same evening.
Know what you will be tested on by USING CHECKLISTS. Don't just say "today i'm revising forces", pick 5 outcomes from the checklist and test yourself at the end to check you do really know it.
